Nature of the service
LTL Freight Match is a licensed freight broker. It quotes, books and manages less-than-truckload shipments, arranges the carrier, and handles the classification, the accessorials and the claim if one is needed. Shipment details are shared with the carrier the freight is tendered to, because a bill of lading requires it, and with nobody else. Physical execution, transit performance and cargo liability rest with the carrier that moves the freight, within the limits set by its tariff. We are responsible for the classification, the booking, the accessorials declared, and for pursuing a claim on your behalf.
