Why this site exists

Requesting LTL freight is an unusually unforgiving process for anyone who does not do it every week. The vocabulary is specialised, the pricing is assembled from parts nobody explains, and the penalty for describing a shipment loosely arrives weeks later on an invoice.

The pages on this site exist to close that gap. They explain what a class is, why a pallet gets reweighed, what a liftgate does and does not do, and what a guarantee actually guarantees — in the order somebody needs to know it, before they ask for a price.

The form exists so that once the shipment is understood, describing it takes four steps rather than four emails.

What we are

An intake and matching platform. We collect shipment details and pass them to independent transportation providers. The full description of what that does and does not include is on how it works.

We own no trucks and hold no operating authority. Where this site says "providers", it means independent companies, not employees, and nothing here should be read as a claim that we perform transportation services.

How the content is written

Four rules, applied to every page.

1. No rates. Not a figure, not a range, not an average. We have no rate source, so we publish none.
2. No invented facts. No made-up statistics, no fabricated testimonials, no counters, no fake urgency and no claimed partnerships.
3. Anything regulatory is flagged. Where a page touches classification rules, carrier liability or licensing, it is marked for verification rather than presented as settled.
4. Usefulness before conversion. Several pages here explain how to avoid needing a provider — terminal pickup, consolidating, shipping dock to dock. That is deliberate.

How this is paid for

Providers pay to receive qualified shipment requests. Shippers pay nothing, and the rate you are quoted comes from the provider.

Saying that plainly is the point. A site funded this way has an incentive to push everyone toward a form, and the only honest countermeasure is to write pages that are worth reading on their own.
